The painting...My first piece of real art.
By "real" I mean expensive.
Next to my computer, this is the most expensive material object I own.
Yes, yes... I just looked around my apartment. It may very well be worth most of my other belongings put together.
But when you see something that moves you, even if you can't explain why, and it lodges in your mind and won't go away, sometimes a dollar amount doesn't matter as much.

Hey Amy! I came looking for update on your Spain trip but even better, got to finally see the painting! Thanks for posting it! I bet it looks great in your apartment. It matches the first quilt that I made for my friends' baby a couple years ago too. Love the colors. Can't wait to hear about Spain - hope your doing well!
